Cassopolis Rangers (Cassopolis, MI) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host River Valley Mustangs (Three Oaks, MI), 6-5 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Cassopolis improves its record to 7-7 on the year. The Rangers travel to Galesburg-Augusta (Galesburg, MI) to play the Rams in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 20. The Rams enter the game with a record of 3-17.
The Mustangs now hold a 14-10 record. They play next when they travel to Michigan Lutheran for a Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White game on Monday, May 19. River Valley will play a Titans squad coming off a 12-6 non-league loss to Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL). The Titans record now stands at 10-12.
