In Saturday's non-league test, the Chippewa Falls Cardinals (Chippewa Falls, WI) softball squad got by the visiting Kimberly Papermakers (Kimberly, WI), by a count of 6-5.

Next, the Cardinals meet the River Falls Wildcats (River Falls, WI) in a Big Rivers test, on Tuesday, May 20. Chippewa Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 12-12 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 8-16 record after their 10-6 league loss to Eau Claire Memorial (Eau Claire, WI).

The Papermakers (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Oshkosh North (Oshkosh, WI). The Spartans go into the Fox Valley Association test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Oshkosh North Oshkosh West (Oshkosh, WI), 7-7, in a league test.
