The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Escanaba Eskymos (Escanaba, MI) and the visiting Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI), observed Escanaba's softball team prevail over Walled Lake Central by a tally of 11-1.

The Eskymos (18-2) will now prepare for their bout against Milan (Milan, MI). The Big Reds go into the non-league bout with a 11-9 record. In their last bout, Milan knocked off Jefferson (Monroe, MI), 16-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Grand Blanc Bobcats (Grand Blanc, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 17. Walled Lake Central will attempt to advance on its 11-13 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 23-3 record after their 11-0 league win over Powers Catholic (Flint, MI).
