The Verona Wildcats softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Holmen Vikings to 3 in the Wildcats non-league win on Saturday.
The Wildcats now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tomah for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 17. Verona will confront a Timberwolves team coming off a 5-0 league win over Sparta (Sparta, WI). The Timberwolves record now stands at 16-3.
With the loss, Holmen moves to 6-11 on the season. The Vikings travel to Monona Grove (Monona, WI) to confront the Silver Eagles in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 17. The Silver Eagles come into the battle with a record of 5-15. Monona Grove lost 13-0 in their recent league battle against Oregon (Oregon, WI)
