The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the South Warren Spartans (Bowling Green, KY) and the host Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY), observed South Warren's softball team prevail over Marshall County by a tally of 15-0.

The Spartans (29-3) will now prepare for their bout against Trigg County (Cadiz, KY). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 18-14 record. In their last bout, Trigg County was routed by Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Marshals clash with the Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 17. Marshall County will attempt to advance on its 32-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 18-14 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY).
