In Saturday's non-league test, the Montclair Mounties (Montclair, NJ) softball squad got by the host Teaneck Highwaymen (Teaneck, NJ), by a tally of 3-2.
Next, the Mounties meet the Nutley Maroon Raiders (Nutley, NJ) in a SEC - American test, on Monday, May 19. Montclair will attempt to advance on its 17-5 season record. The Maroon Raiders go into the test with a 12-9 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ).
The Highwaymen (10-14) will now prepare for their test against Passaic (Passaic, NJ). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 3-13 record. In their last test, Passaic was nudged by Bergen Tech (Hackensack, NJ), 16-0, in a league test.
