The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Whiteford Bobcats (Ottawa Lake, MI) and the host Pinckney Pirates (Pinckney, MI), observed Whiteford's softball team get by Pinckney by a tally of 6-5.

The Bobcats (13-5) will now prepare for their bout against Sand Creek (Sand Creek, MI). The Aggies go into the Tri-County bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, Sand Creek was nipped by Springport (Springport, MI), 8-7, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Ida Bluestreaks (Ida, MI) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, May 18. Pinckney will attempt to advance on its 19-11 season record. The Bluestreaks go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 15-0 league win over Hillsdale (Hillsdale, MI).
