The Hoover Huskies baseball team (Clendenin, WV), was overwhelmed 10-3 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the visiting Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV)
The Knights now hold a 25-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hurricane for a non-league test on Monday, May 23. Cabell Midland will battle a Redskins squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Sissonville (Charleston, WV). The Redskins record now stands at 28-4.
With the defeat, Hoover falls to 11-7 on the season. The Huskies travel to Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, May 23. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 24-9. Robert C. Byrd lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV)
