In Wednesday's non-league game, the host James Monroe Yellow Jackets baseball team scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Colonial Beach Drifters.
The Drifters (7-6) will now prepare for their game against Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA). The Raiders go into the Northern Neck game with a 13-5 record. In their last game, Rappahannock tipped Essex (Tappahannock, VA), 7-2, in a league game.
