The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY) and the visiting Pioneer Panthers (Yorkshire, NY), saw Amherst Central's softball squad achieve victory over Pioneer by a count of 29-2.

The Tigers now sport a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cheektowaga for a non-league match on Thursday, May 19. Amherst Central will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Williamsville North (Williamsville, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 13-3.

With the loss, Pioneer falls to 0-9 on the campaign.
