Connecticut High School Softball - Shepaug Valley bounces Bethel

The Shepaug Valley Spartans routed the host Bethel Wildcats softball squad by a final score of 7-1 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Spartans (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT). The Highlanders go into the Berkshire battle with a 15-2 record. In their last battle, Northwestern Regional nudged Thomaston (Thomaston, CT), 8-2, in a league battle.

The Wildcats now possess a 8-12 record.
