Salem Blue Devils (Salem, NH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Manchester Central Little Green (Manchester, NH), 4-2 in a league challenge.

The Blue Devils now own a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they host Keene for a Division I challenge on Friday, May 20.

With the loss, Manchester Central falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Little green travel to Alvirne (Hudson, NH) to battle the Broncos in a Division I challenge on Friday, May 20. The Broncos enter the challenge with a record of 13-10. Alvirne won 12-2 in their recent league challenge against Windham (Windham, NH)
