South Carolina High School Softball - Union County nudges Palmetto

Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Broome for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 20. Union County will face a Centurions squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Union County (Union, SC). The Centurions record now stands at 13-2.
With the loss, Palmetto falls to 20-10 on the campaign.
