Maine High School Softball - Traip knocked off by York

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the York Wildcats (York, ME) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Traip Rangers (Kittery, ME), by a margin of 19-4.
With the triumph, York moves its record to 12-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Lake Region (Naples, ME) to play the Lakers in a Class B South contest on Friday, May 20. The Lakers come into the contest with a record of 5-4.
In their next game, the Rangers play the Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME) in a Class C South contest, on Wednesday, May 25. Traip will attempt to move on its 0-12 season record.
