Rhode Island High School Baseball - Hope nips Davies Career & Tech

Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Davies Career & Tech Patriots (Lincoln, RI), 6-5 in a league test.

With the win, Hope upgrades its record to 3-11 on the season. The Blue Wave host Times Squared Academy (Providence, RI) to battle the Eagles in a Division 3 test on Friday, May 19. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-4. Times Squared Academy lost 1-0 in their recent league test against Classical (Providence, RI)

With the defeat, Davies Career & Tech falls to 0-12 on the season. The Patriots host Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI) to battle the Kilties in a Division 3 test on Monday, May 22. The Kilties come into the test with a record of 11-3. Mt. Pleasant lost 5-3 in their recent league test against Exeter-West Greenwich (West Greenwich, RI)
