Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) and the visiting Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL), saw Evanston's baseball squad knock off Lincoln Park by a count of 10-6.
Coming up next, the Wildkits play the Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 19. Evanston will attempt to move on its 26-7 season record. The Bison enter the battle with a 19-11 record after their 15-4 non-league win over Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL).
The Lions now possess a 11-17 record.
