In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Union Academy Cardinals soccer squad scored a good 9-0 win over the Bethany Wolves.
The Cardinals (20-3) will now prepare for their battle against Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC). The Gryphons go into the non-league battle with a 14-3 record. In their last battle, Thomas Jefferson notched a victory over Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
