In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Penfield Patriots lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-8 victory over the Hilton Cadets.
The Patriots now have a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairport for a Section 5 Monroe County I match on Tuesday, May 23.
The Cadets (7-8) will now prepare for their match against Rush-Henrietta (Henrietta, NY). The Royal Comets go into the non-league match with a 11-2 record.
