Maine High School Softball - Cape Elizabeth gets by Mt. Ararat

The Cape Elizabeth Capers got by the visiting Mt. Ararat Eagles softball squad by a final score of 6-5 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Capers (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Freeport (Freeport, ME). The Falcons go into the Class B South battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Freeport was edged by Greely (Cumberland Center, ME), 11-1, in a league battle.
The Eagles now possess a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Edward Little for a Class A North battle on Saturday, May 20. Mt. Ararat will meet a Red Eddies squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME). The Red Eddies record now stands at 6-6.
