Illinois High School Softball - Oak Park-River Forest bounces Fenwick

May 18, 2023: Oak Park, IL 60302

The Oak Park-River Forest Huskies routed the host Fenwick Friars softball squad by a count of 13-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Huskies (25-7) will now prepare for their battle against Kenwood (Chicago, IL). The Broncos go into the non-league battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Kenwood was routed by Northtown (Chicago, IL), 12-1, in a non-league battle.

The Friars now sport a 13-14 record. They play next when they travel to De La Salle for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 20. Fenwick will meet a Meteors squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Meteors record now stands at 18-13.
