Lynden Christian Lyncs (Lynden, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Granite Falls Tigers (Granite Falls, WA), 15-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Lyncs now own a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blaine for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Thursday, May 18. Lynden Christian will battle a Borderites squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Lakewood (Arlington, WA). The Borderites record now stands at 14-2.

With the loss, Granite Falls falls to 10-10 on the campaign. The Tigers host Meridian (Bellingham, WA) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 18. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 11-10. Meridian won 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Sultan (Sultan, WA)
