Indiana High School Softball - South Dearborn bounces Jennings County

May 18, 2023: Aurora, IN 47001

South Dearborn Knights (Aurora, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Jennings County Panthers (North Vernon, IN), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 20-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin County for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 22. South Dearborn will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to East Central (St. Leon, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-13.

With the loss, Jennings County falls to 12-15 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to New Albany (New Albany, IN) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 22. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 14-8.
