Idaho High School Softball - Potlatch bounces Lighthouse Christian

The Potlatch Loggers (Potlatch, ID) softball routed the visiting Lighthouse Christian Lions (Twin Falls, ID), 15-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Loggers (16-3) will now prepare for their bout against Genesee (Genesee, ID). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 14-9 record. In their last bout, Genesee toppled Clearwater Valley (Kooskia, ID), 1-0, in a non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 9-14 record. They play next when they travel to Vision for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 18. Lighthouse Christian will confront a squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Glenns Ferry (Glenns Ferry, ID). The record now stands at 15-5.

This game is a part of the 2023 IHSAA Softball State Championships (Idaho) - Class 1A tournament
