The Mt. Baker Mountaineers softball team scored 29 runs and limited the visiting South Whidbey Falcons to 0 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Mt. Baker moves its record to 11-6 on the year. The Mountaineers travel to Blaine (Blaine, WA) to clash with the Borderites in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game on Saturday, May 20. The Borderites come into the game with a record of 16-2. Blaine won 13-0 in their recent league game against Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA)

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 18. South Whidbey will attempt to move on its 5-13 season record. The Pioneers come into the game with a 4-10 record after their 19-6 league loss to Lakewood (Arlington, WA).
