The Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) softball routed the host Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV), 10-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs (30-4) will now prepare for their bout against Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV). The Longhorns go into the non-league bout with a 18-6 record. In their last bout, Battle Mountain toppled White Pine (Ely, NV), 10-7, in a non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 27-6 record. They play next when they travel to White Pine for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 18. Pershing County will confront a Bobcats squad coming off a 21-0 non-league loss to Needles (Needles, CA). The Bobcats record now stands at 16-11.
