Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL), 10-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 15-11 record.

With the loss, Plainfield North falls to 16-14 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Andrew (Tinley Park, IL) to face the Thunderbolts in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 19. The Thunderbolts enter the challenge with a record of 22-8. Andrew lost 8-7 in their recent league challenge against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL)
