In Saturday's non-league contest, the St. Louis Sharks (St. Louis, MI) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Bad Axe Hatchets (Bad Axe, MI), by a margin of 9-1.

With the triumph, St. Louis moves its record to 12-9 on the year. The Sharks travel to Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MI) to play the Huskies in a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 22. The Huskies come into the contest with a record of 6-10. Breckenridge lost 7-1 in their recent non-league contest against Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI)

In their next game, the Hatchets play the Caro Tigers (Caro, MI) in a Greater Thumb - West contest, on Monday, May 20. Bad Axe will attempt to move on its 9-10 season record.
