Westville Blackhawks (Westville, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Blackhawks now own a 17-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marquette Catholic for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 21.

With the loss, River Forest falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Ingots travel to Griffith (Griffith, IN) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 20. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 7-14. Griffith lost 5-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN)
