The St. John's Prep Eagles (Danvers, MA) baseball trounced the host Mansfield Hornets (Mansfield, MA), 8-1 in Sunday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Mary's for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 19. St. John's Prep will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Arlington Catholic (Arlington, MA). The Spartans record now stands at 14-3.
With the defeat, Mansfield drops to 10-10 on the year. The Hornets travel to Foxborough (Foxborough, MA) to clash with the Warriors in a Hockomock - Davenport challenge on Monday, May 19. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 9-6.
