The crowd at Sunday's non-league battle between the St. John's Prep Eagles (Danvers, MA) and the host Mansfield Hornets (Mansfield, MA), saw St. John's Prep's baseball team get by Mansfield by a margin of 8-7.
The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against St. Mary's (Lynn, MA). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 5-1 record.
Next, the Hornets face the Foxborough Warriors (Foxborough, MA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 19. Mansfield will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record.
