Connecticut High School Softball - New Milford bounces Weston

May 18, 2025: Weston, CT 06883

In Sunday's league match, the visiting New Milford Green Wave softball team scored a nice 21-0 win over the Weston Trojans.

The Green Wave (15-4) will now prepare for their match against Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Bobcats come into the Southwest - Colonial match with a 15-3 record. In their last match, Brookfield notched a victory over Bethel (Bethel, CT), 9-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) in a Southwest - Colonial match, on Monday, May 19. Weston will attempt to better on its 2-18 season record. The Nighthawks come into the match with a 8-5 record after their 7-1 league loss to Masuk (Monroe, CT).
