The Flambeau Falcons softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Gilman Pirates to 2 in the Falcons non-league win on Monday.

The Falcons now possess a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwood/Solon Springs for a Lakeland - East battle on Tuesday, May 19. Flambeau will confront a Evergreens team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Turtle Lake/Clayton (Clayton, WI). The Evergreens record now stands at 20-2.

With the loss, Gilman moves to 9-12 on the season. The Pirates host Phillips (Phillips, WI) to confront the Loggers in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 21. The Loggers come into the battle with a record of 14-9. Phillips won 12-1 in their recent non-league battle against Mellen (Mellen, WI)
