The Hunterdon Central Red Devils (Flemington, NJ) softball nipped the host Ridge Red Devil (Basking Ridge, NJ), 3-2 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Red Devils now sport a 15-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ramsey for a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 20. Hunterdon Central will encounter a Rams team coming off a 17-8 league win over Westwood (Washington Township, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 20-3.

With the loss, Ridge moves to 9-11 on the season. The Red devil travel to Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ) to encounter the Chiefs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 19. The Chiefs come into the outing with a record of 21-5. Caldwell won 5-3 in their recent non-league outing against Gill St. Bernard's (Gladstone, NJ)
