The Winthrop Vikings softball squad (Winthrop, MA), was routed 12-0 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Marblehead Magicians (Marblehead, MA)

With the triumph, Marblehead improves its record to 12-6 on the year. The Magicians travel to Danvers (Danvers, MA) to face the Falcons in a Northeast- Dunn contest on Wednesday, May 20. The Falcons enter the contest with a record of 12-7. Danvers won 13-1 in their recent non-league contest against Salem (Salem, MA)

The Vikings now hold a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Gloucester for a Northeast- Lynch contest on Thursday, May 21.
