Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT), 8-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Plainfield upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Panthers travel to RHAM (Hebron, CT) to battle the Raptors in a non-league test on Saturday, May 21. The Raptors come into the test with a record of 13-4. RHAM won 8-4 in their recent non-league test against Plainville (Plainville, CT)
With the defeat, Bacon Academy falls to 16-3 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT) to battle the Wildcats in a Eastern Connecticut - Division I test on Saturday, May 21. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 5-13. Norwich Free Academy lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Ledyard (Ledyard, CT)
