The Southview Cougars got by the host St. Francis de Sales Knights baseball team by a count of 4-3 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 9-12 record. They take the field next when they host Perrysburg for a Northern Lakes bout on Monday, May 23. Southview will face a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 20-5.
Next, the Knights face the Central Catholic Fighting Irish (Toledo, OH) in a Three Rivers bout, on Saturday, May 21. St. Francis de Sales will attempt to move on its 13-11 season record. The Fighting Irish enter the bout with a 9-24 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Wauseon (Wauseon, OH).
