In Thursday's league test, the host Neenah Rockets lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-5 victory over the Bay Port Pirates.
The Rockets now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Waunakee for a non-league test on Saturday, May 21. Neenah will face a Warriors squad coming off a 15-3 league win over DeForest (DeForest, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 7-7.
In their next game, the Pirates face the Wausau East Lumberjacks (Wausau, WI) in a Bay Valley Conference test, on Sunday, May 22. Bay Port will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Lumberjacks come into the test with a 5-7 record after their 9-7 league loss to De Pere (De Pere, WI).
