North Carolina High School Soccer - Corvian Community nudges Draughn

Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals confront the Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 23. Corvian Community will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 20-0 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC).

The Wildcats now possess a 5-8 record.
