North Carolina High School Soccer - Perquimans knocks off Union

Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates confront the East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 23. Perquimans will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Gators enter the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC).

The Spartans now possess a 8-9 record.
