The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Beverly Panthers (Beverly, MA) and the host Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA), saw Beverly's lacrosse team top Saugus by a margin of 17-4.

The Panthers (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Hamilton-Wenham Regional (South Hamilton, MA). The Generals enter the non-league challenge with a 2-9 record.

The Sachems (2-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Stoneham (Stoneham, MA). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Stoneham was overwhelmed by Melrose (Melrose, MA), 9-8, in a league challenge.
