Ohio High School Softball - South Webster holds off Belpre

South Webster Jeeps (South Webster, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Belpre Golden Eagles (Belpre, OH), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Jeeps now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waterford for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 21. South Webster will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-7 non-league win over Clay (Portsmouth, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-7.
With the loss, Belpre falls to 16-8 on the campaign.
