The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Columbus North Bull Dogs (Columbus, IN) and the host Hauser Jets (Hope, IN), saw Columbus North's softball squad nip Hauser by a count of 2-0.

The Bull Dogs now sport a 18-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Central for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 24. Columbus North will face a Trojans squad coming off a 12-6 league win over Franklin County (Brookville, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 16-11.

With the loss, Hauser falls to 19-4 on the campaign. The Jets travel to Oldenburg Academy (Oldenburg, IN) to face the Twisters in a non-league match on Monday, May 23. The Twisters enter the match with a record of 0-12. Oldenburg Academy lost 13-3 in their recent non-league match against Indiana School for the Deaf (Indianapolis, IN)
