Washington High School Softball - WF West bounces Ridgefield

The WF West Bearcats (Chehalis, WA) softball routed the host Ridgefield Spudders (Ridgefield, WA), 8-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Bearcats (18-4) will now prepare for their bout against Tumwater (Tumwater, WA). The Thunderbirds go into the 2A Evergreen bout with a 19-1 record. In their last bout, Tumwater held off Rochester (Rochester, WA), 9-3, in a league bout.

The Spudders now possess a 17-2 record. They play next when they host R.A. Long for a 2A Greater St. Helens bout on Friday, May 20. Ridgefield will confront a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 5-2 league win over Hockinson (Brush Prairie, WA). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 11-5.
