The Franklin Patriots baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Roosevelt Bears to 2 in the Patriots non-league victory on Friday.
The Patriots (20-5) will now prepare for their match against Hartland (Hartland, MI). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 7-8 record.
With the defeat, Roosevelt falls to 8-16 on the season. The Bears travel to Allen Park (Allen Park, MI) to battle the Jaguars in a Downriver challenge on Monday, May 22. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 24-4. Allen Park won 17-4 in their recent league challenge against Trenton (Trenton, MI)
