The Homer Mariners baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Redington Huskies to 1 in the Mariners league victory on Friday.
The Huskies (1-7) will now prepare for their match against Kenai Central (Kenai, AK). The Kardinals go into the Northern Lights match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, Kenai Central ran past Homer (Homer, AK), 3-2, in a league match.
