Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Westinghouse Warriors (Chicago, IL), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Friars confront the Elmwood Park Tigers (Elmwood Park, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 24. Fenwick will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Amundsen (Chicago, IL).
The Warriors now possess a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marine Leadership Academy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 25. Westinghouse will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 13-0 non-league win over ITW David Speer Academy (Chicago, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 23-2.
