The Western Albemarle Warriors lacrosse team scored 19 points and held the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets to 3 in the Warriors league win on Friday.
The Warriors (11-3) will now prepare for their game against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos go into the non-league game with a 5-10 record. In their last game, Fluvanna County prevailed over Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA), 13-3, in a league game.
The Fighting Hornets (8-6) will now prepare for their game against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 11-2 record. In their last game, Monticello was overwhelmed by Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA), 17-4, in a league game.
