Fulton Pirates (Middleton, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Breckenridge Huskies (Breckenridge, MI), 9-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Johns for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 22.

With the loss, Breckenridge falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI) to battle the Aggies in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 20. The Aggies enter the challenge with a record of 8-4. Beal City won 20-3 in their recent league challenge against Lake City (Lake City, MI)
