Springport Spartans (Springport, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Potterville Vikings (Potterville, MI), 18-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they host Bronson for a Big 8 challenge on Monday, May 22.

With the loss, Potterville falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Eastern (Lansing, MI) to battle the Quakers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 23. The Quakers enter the challenge with a record of 0-7.
