Tahoma Bears (Maple Valley, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting South Kitsap Wolves (Port Orchard, WA), 10-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Bears now own a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Emerald Ridge for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 19. Tahoma will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 7-4 league win over Sumner (Sumner, WA). The Jaguars record now stands at 15-5.

With the loss, South Kitsap falls to 13-9 on the campaign. The Wolves host Curtis (University Place, WA) to face the Vikings in a 4A South Puget Sound challenge on Friday, May 19. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 5-16. Curtis won 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Jefferson (Auburn, WA)
